"My puppy Michaela, a female German Shepherd jumping on me n pulling me out of bed, woke me up 5:30 am as our home was on fire. As I tried to get out it out, it spread too fast and all I could do was to get my other dog Goldy outside. I managed this choking on smoke and burning but not enough time to Save Michaela as the door shut behind us and was sealed too tight. Tried to break through front door but two neighbors held me back. By the time firemen busted through it was too late, as she was lying on steps. She saved Goldy twice and both of us this time. Rest in Peace MY ANGEL."

In the early hours of July 20, 2023, I said the final good-bye to my precious, second "Once in a Lifetime Dog," Molly.

You know, that special dog in your life that no other can compare to; the one that made it into the deepest part of your heart, to remain there forever?

I was blessed to have had two such dogs in my life; my dearest Samantha, followed by my little Princess Molly.

Molly and I shared 11 wonderful years together; surely not long enough, but I am thankful for the time we were given.

Rest well, my Pretty, Pretty Princess; until we meet again.
